AgingProject.org is now part of Kinpanion

AgingProject.org, an independent publication that spent years writing about aging, longevity, and quality of later life, has joined Kinpanion. We acquired the domain and the body of work behind it because the conversations it was hosting — frank, useful, written for actual families rather than abstract policy audiences — are the same conversations we want Kinpanion's product team and our customer education to grow inside of.

What this means in practice: the AgingProject.org archive has been ingested into Kinpanion's education library, where its strongest pieces continue to shape what we publish for caregivers. The original site no longer accepts new posts, and the older URLs redirect here. We aren't preserving every old page one-for-one. Some of the writing was time-stamped for an internet that no longer exists, and reposting it unchanged would do more harm than good.

The team that ran AgingProject.org cared about the practical end of aging — how households actually accommodate a parent's changing health, what real safety looks like at home, how families divide labor between siblings who live in different cities. Those are also the problems Kinpanion's hardware and software were built to address. Folding the archive into our customer education work is the most natural place for it to live.
